"Flipping Out, Part 1", known as "The Other Side Where The Other Side of the Duel is Read!" in the Japanese version, is the fifth episode of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It first aired in Japan on May 9, 2011 and in USA on November 12, 2011.
Summary[]
At a local dessert store, Flip warns the crowd gathered that the desserts have a hidden side and that they should be careful. The shopowner gets mad and Flip challenges him to a Duel to prove that his desserts are truthful. Most of the Duel is not shown, but Flip wins by activating "Ultra C", Special Summoning "Grenosaurus" from the opponent's Extra Deck, attacking with it and beating the shopowner. The boy believes that everything has a hidden side; and he has a hidden power, the ability to flip things upside down and reverse objects. He sets his sights on Yuma, who is racing to get the item his sister requested. Astral notices Flip, and Flip in turn notes of Yuma's fame for being a bad Duelist. Flip thinks Yuma must have great cards, and makes a plan to make Yuma use a certain card.
The next day, before school, Tori and Bronk tries to Yuma explain that the spirit of it is pursuing Astral and wants to be called so in the future of the two. Both Astral can still see and do not worry even more that Yumas "pipe dream" is now even has a name. Flip will then be run to Yuma and pretends to be a fan Yumas. Yuma knows not what the boy introduces himself and explains that he is from the same class Yumas. He claims that he Yuma, thanks to that he has defeated Shark and would like to mark their new Freu stem Xyz give his monster baby Tragon. Astral looks back to the dark aura Flip and wondering what is going on with the boys. Yuma, meanwhile, wants to have the cards to take him Flip shows, as Kotori and Tetsuo wegzerren stop him and, with the excuse that they turn to take care of the plants in the classroom. Yuma then asks the two what was going on. Kotori and Tetsuo Yuma try to make it clear that one should not generally engage with Tokunosuke as he is known as a lousy little bastard. Both modest know so well because they had to do in elementary school and had been with him all his actions always hidden motives. Yuma in turn can not believe that this little boy should be so.
Later in the school during class Yuma keeps a nap. Meanwhile, Astral within Yumas key looks in the blue world to get back into the machine. As shown Astral looking around he noticed a large gear on the 17's. As Astral appears extends his arm to his hand, also the 17th The gear starts to glow and move forward after which further gears start to move.
Meanwhile, Yuma goes straight out of the classroom will be addressed when he spoke of Tokunosuke. Before this can really say what pulls away Kotori Yuma. Some time later, Yuma just finished his business in the toilet as Tokunosuke wants him to address the addition of toilets. This time appears Tetsuo quickly wegzerrt of the Yuma Tokunosuke. As Tokunosuke Yuma this time preying on the farm, it creates Kotori Yuma pull back in time. Kotori and Tetsuo Yuma ask whether he would still not understood for what Yuma said that the two somewhat exaggerated. Meanwhile Tokunosuke wonders how he can foist Yuma only the map. Suddenly, it seems, another classmate of Yuma, Taichi, is looking for some xyz monsters, what Tokunosuke get an idea. Tokunosuke Taichi makes a few false promises when it does something for him. Taichi takes Tokunosukes offer and believes now is his lucky day.
home kari asks her brother if he would have played again Duel Monsters. Yuma denies this and has his sister asks him why he gets such a letter and throws him a fan letter. Addressed the letter to Yuma "the future King of Games". Yuma can not believe that he has received his first fan letter, unfortunately, he has thus betrayed before his sister and runs with the letter immediately to his room. kari can not believe that Yuma their rule is "No duels of any kind of" broken asks her grandmother whether she knew about what it. Haru turned around quickly, then do as if they knew of nothing, and drink their tea out on. Akari then declare that such duels Yuma, duels were not completely normal, so they've set up this rule. A little later in his room in Yuma would still have the fan letter. Astral asks her what kind of effect has a fan letter. Yuma, declares that people write in a Fanbriefen how much they would have one, because of what they have done. Astral wants to change the topic then asks Yuma if it was actually forbidden him to duel. Yuma said, slightly dejected that this would not concern them and Astral wants to pay back after the fan letter. Astral has meanwhile made Observation # 8: Yuma is actually forbidden to duel. Yuma opens the letter and is in addition to the hologram message even before the baby Exceedmonster Tragon. On the hologram message Yuma looks like a young girl with her back to him saying that she has applied her courage to send this card to Yuma. Although first thought to Yuma, due to the card, the letter was Tokunosuke but the girl on the hologram away with his suspicions. Of course, the girl was Tokunosuke in disguise, but does not know what Yuma. Tokunosuke will now proceed to the next step and make home a little photo montage. Tokunosuke says Yuma would soon learn to know the dark side of society. The next day, Yuma provided by Takashi and his classmates to another speech. These were in fact sent photos as proof of Yuma abkuckt others responsible for the pranks against them and their teacher. Is one of the photos clearly showed how Yuma Taichi has played a prank and did a frog in his lunch box. Takashi says that Taichi, after he had them figured out, refuses to go to school today so he was not there. Yuma argue that all of course but from Takashi says that the photos depict a different story. Tetsuo and Kotori Yuma defend against these allegations but Takashi is not convinced and decides innocence Yumas from Yuma with other students to ignore completely now.
afternoon Yuma is gone to the mall and talk to Astral on the situation. Yuma can not believe that he did not even find a partner to fight a duel, and wonders how it all could just happen. Astral Yuma then asks what "hidden pages" because this means it was accusing his fellow students in Yuma. Yuma explains that this means that what one person says to another, and what she really thinks would be completely different. Astral wonders and asks whether each person would have after that. Yuma confirmed that asks what astral why Yuma is no such thing had. Yuma said but something also, but his side were not as hidden as the others believe it. Suddenly Tokunosuke, pretends he does not know what's going on with Yuma and asks what he wants to concern. Once in Yuma had told him everything Tokunosuke makes a good friend to his story, claiming to believe and fully stand behind him. He had seen the match against Shark is what kind of duelist Yuma why he believes him. Defeated because they also are on the subject Tokunosuke will ask for time as the card was called with the Yuma Shark. Yuma asks if he means what Hope Tokunosuke now knows the name of Yumas strongest monster. Tokunosuke says that he always stands behind Yuma no matter what and does so when he would give him a pat on the back, which he in fact Yuma stuck a note on the back, without noticing this. Tokunosuke then proposes a duel from Yuma to cheer again. Yuma is in agreement, even though astral discourages him about it. Yuma but feels that they could trust Tokunosuke and agrees nonetheless. Yuma Tokunosuke asks who he is talking because what Yuma responds that this is now not so important and they'd better start. Both then activate their D-Gazer and D-pad which begins the duel.
